The III Minsk International Fulldome Festival will be held on October 14 - 17, 2021. This is a unique event for Belarus will take place, which will demonstrate modern achievements and technologies of fulldome cinema. This is one of the youngest types and promising directions in the film industry. The image in this movie is displayed on the dome with a 360-degree overview, using modern digital projectors. At the same time, the viewer has the opportunity to see the picture around him and gets a feeling of complete immersion in the visual space and atmosphere of the film. It is this unique format of film screening that is one of the most spectacular, and the fulldome films themselves open today new opportunities for creating interesting objects of intellectual property, popularizing science and developing innovative creativity in the field of culture and art.
The programme of the festival includes showing on a competitive basis of popular scientific documentaries, animated, short and art films created in the last two years in different countries of the world. In addition, within the framework of MIFF, meetings with filmmakers are planned in Q&A format, as well as an extensive educational program. There will be experts' workshops and specialists' presentations, astrophotography exhibitions and demonstration of modern achievements in fulldome cinema.
